Lisa Benedetto, MSN, CNM, LM
I first began practicing midwifery in Boulder, Colorado where I spent the majority of my adult years living in the Rocky Mountains and raising my daughter, Sierra. I graduated from Colorado University in 2005 with a Bachelor’s in Nursing and went on to complete a Master of Science in Nurse-Midwifery from Frontier Nursing University in 2009. I have attended over 1000 births and supported many more laboring mothers along the way. I am a member of the American College of Nurse-Midwives (ACNM) and the New York State Association of Licensed Midwives (NYSALM). My midwifery experience during the past 10 years includes practicing in busy hospitals, rural birth centers and lovely private homes. Over the years, I have learned that attending home births is where my midwife heart is fullest! Most importantly, owning and operating my own practice allows me to provide the most competent, compassionate, individualized care that I am able to. Supporting physiologic birth and assisting women to make informed decisions are a few of the important values that help guide the services I offer.
I look forward to meeting you and your family!
